De acuerdo con la Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad P\u00fablica Urbana del Inegi, al tercer trimestre de 2020 ciudades como M\u00e9rida, San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda, San Nicol\u00e1s de los Garza, Saltillo y Los Cabos destacaron por presentar mejor percepci\u00f3n en seguridad. De la capital yucateca, destaca que \u201ccuenta con una moderna infraestructura que ha permitido un crecimiento ordenado; su ubicaci\u00f3n permite actividades comerciales y tur\u00edsticas, que unen la tranquilidad con la versatilidad de las grandes ciudades\u201d. Comprar una casa en la ciudad puede costar 2 millones 300 mil pesos, aproximadamente y la renta est\u00e1 alrededor de 11 mil pesos.
