\/><\/a><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C<\/strong>on un aumento de 47.3 por ciento, con respecto al a\u00f1o anterior en la contribuci\u00f3n de viajes y turismo al PIB, lo que representa un crecimiento de casi 12 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, la zona del Caribe se alza como la que m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido se est\u00e1 recuperando, luego de la ca\u00edda por la pandemia. Por supuesto, Quintana Roo, al tener varios de los destinos m\u00e1s importantes de la regi\u00f3n, como Canc\u00fan, Riviera Maya y Cozumel, representa una pieza clave en estas cifras alegres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto se debe a que varias empresas de viajes y turismo en el Caribe introdujeron nuevas medidas y protocolos mejorados de salud y seguridad al comienzo de la pandemia para brindar confianza a los viajeros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Contribuci\u00f3n al alza<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la m\u00e1s reciente investigaci\u00f3n del Consejo Mundial de Viajes y Turismo (WTTC), durante este a\u00f1o el Caribe puede registrar un crecimiento de 47.3 por ciento en la contribuci\u00f3n de viajes y turismo al PIB de la regi\u00f3n, en comparaci\u00f3n a 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estudio pronostica que para este a\u00f1o el PIB global recibir\u00eda una contribuci\u00f3n del 30.7 por ciento por parte del sector de Viajes y Turismo, lo que representa 1.4 billones de d\u00f3lares; esta situaci\u00f3n es impulsada principalmente por el gasto interno.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las medidas de seguridad aumentan la confianza de los viajeros, y la investigaci\u00f3n sugiere que estos lineamientos est\u00e1n ayudando a conducir a los visitantes de regreso a la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full todav\u00eda&nbsp;lejos de 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si bien el Caribe se est\u00e1 recuperando m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que otras regiones, gracias a su flexibilidad en restricciones de viajes y bajas tasas de contagio, esto a\u00fan est\u00e1 por debajo de su desempe\u00f1o en 2019, un a\u00f1o r\u00e9cord para el sector, donde los viajes y el turismo representaron m\u00e1s del 14 por ciento del PIB de la regi\u00f3n, contribuyendo con m\u00e1s de 58 mil millones de d\u00f3lares a su econom\u00eda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estudio revela que el gasto internacional por visitante en toda la regi\u00f3n podr\u00eda aumentar a 61.7 por ciento en 2021, por encima del gasto interno, que podr\u00eda presentar un aumento del 52.6 por ciento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Julia Simpson, presidenta y CEO del WTTC, dijo que \u201cel a\u00f1o pasado, la pandemia provoc\u00f3 la p\u00e9rdida de al menos una cuarta parte de todos los empleos de viajes y turismo de el Caribe, con 680,000 empleos, pero debido a un aumento significativo en el gasto internacional y nacional, tanto los empleos como la contribuci\u00f3n al PIB est\u00e1n en aumento\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n revela que, para este a\u00f1o en el Caribe, se podr\u00eda registrar un aumento de 12 por ciento en los empleos, en comparaci\u00f3n con 0.7 por ciento de crecimiento a nivel
