Marriott Resort y JW Marriott Canc\u00fan Resort & Spa impulsan acciones ben\u00e9ficas con su plataforma de responsabilidad social<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Con el objetivo de enaltecer los valores de Marriott International de cuidar de hu\u00e9spedes y comunidades para un mejor entorno empresarial, a trav\u00e9s de Serve360, la plataforma de responsabilidad social de Marriott International, asociados de Marriott Canc\u00fan Resort y JW Marriott Canc\u00fan Resort & Spa demostraron que para mantener este para\u00edso digno de una postal, hay que mantener a todos los involucrados en el mismo barco de bienestar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Por eso, dedicaron varios d\u00edas a un tour de acciones ben\u00e9ficas a diversas fundaciones, con la intenci\u00f3n de apoyar a los que m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Entre las fundaciones seleccionadas para impulsar Serve360 estuvo \u201cLa Casa de Don Pascual\u201d, un peque\u00f1o asilo donde viven 23 adultos mayores y que se sostiene con base en voluntariados y donativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A ellos les prepararon una cena en la que compartieron un men\u00fa a base de dos pavos con guarniciones, mientras charlaban e intercambiaban an\u00e9cdotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adem\u00e1s, la Asociaci\u00f3n de padres de familia con hijos deficientes mentales (Apafhdem Manos productivas), una asociaci\u00f3n que busca proteger a personas con discapacidad intelectual, creando talleres (principalmente de creaci\u00f3n de pi\u00f1atas) en los que se puedan capacitar y ser econ\u00f3micamente activos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A ellos les juntaron una donaci\u00f3n de blancos que inclu\u00edan: 78 s\u00e1banas y duvets, 31 tapetes y 40 toallas de ba\u00f1o. Adem\u00e1s, se hizo una colecta de uniformes completos para continuar con los talleres de manualidades de la asociaci\u00f3n que contaban de 70 pantalones, 50 delantales, 30 camisas, 60 faldas y 50 filipinas. El efectivo que tambi\u00e9n se recaud\u00f3 es dirigido para el mantenimiento y creaci\u00f3n de talleres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apoyo para los m\u00e1s necesitados<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Otra asociaci\u00f3n que apoyaron fue Pro Kids, una casa hogar que busca rescatar, defender y proteger a ni\u00f1os y adolescentes de una vida de abuso y maltrato, proporcion\u00e1ndoles una vivienda digna, educaci\u00f3n y un hogar hasta llegar a su rehabilitaci\u00f3n integral. Actualmente es habitada por 25 ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A ellos les entregaron juguetes para que los peque\u00f1os pudieran disfrutar la magia de la Navidad: hubo gran variedad y se seleccionaron juguetes que estimular\u00edan sus habilidades sociales e imaginaci\u00f3n, como balones de futbol, peluches y mu\u00f1ecas. En total se juntaron 30, suficientes para cubrir a todos. Adicionalmente, les dieron un grupo de blancos que inclu\u00eda 150 s\u00e1banas y duvets, 57 tapetes y 92 toallas de ba\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unidos por un mismo fin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Gracias a que estas acciones se hacen de coraz\u00f3n y en pro de ayudar a los que m\u00e1s lo necesitan, algunos de los logros obtenidos durante 2021 que vale la pena resaltar son: la participaci\u00f3n de mil 327 voluntarios, quienes invirtieron 6 mil 160 horas para estas actividades, en las que beneficiaron a 12 asociaciones en Canc\u00fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adem\u00e1s, trabajaron permanentemente con la asociaci\u00f3n \u201cSacando Espuma\u201d, para el reciclado de jab\u00f3n de las habitaciones e integraron un comit\u00e9 de \u2018Take Care\u2019 para impulsar las iniciativas en este a\u00f1o 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
