La aerol\u00ednea American Airlines (AA) concret\u00f3 este jueves el vuelo inaugural de la ruta Miami-Cozumel, la cual tendr\u00e1 una frecuencia de cinco vuelos semanales con una disponibilidad de dos mil 400 asientos.<\/p>\n

En la ceremonia de bienvenida, Tony Guti\u00e9rrez, directora de American Airlines para M\u00e9xico, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que se concreta un compromiso y se fortalecer\u00e1\u00a0 para continuar la promoci\u00f3n de Cozumel.<\/p>\n

Por lo pronto, a\u00f1adi\u00f3, American Airlines tendr\u00e1 una frecuencia de cinco vuelos a la semana con una disponibilidad de dos mil 400 asientos y para la llamada \u201ctemporada alta\u201d se incrementar\u00e1n vuelos los s\u00e1bados, que incrementar\u00e1n significativamente el turismo de pernocta.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Phil Oliveri director Ejecutivo de American Airlines para M\u00e9xico y Centro Am\u00e9rica, inform\u00f3 que la aerol\u00ednea tiene presencia en m\u00e1s de 270 aeropuertos en cerca de 50 pa\u00edses del mundo, con una flota de casi 900 aviones, con centros de conexiones en Chicago, Dallas\/Fort Worth, Los \u00c1ngeles, Miami y Nueva York.<\/p>\n

Cabe destacar que el vuelo AA2409 arribo a la isla con 86 pasajeros a bordo, en un avi\u00f3n Boing 737-800 con capacidad para 160 asientos con cabinas de clase econ\u00f3mica y primera clase.<\/p>\n

El corte de list\u00f3n inaugural, al que asistieron el gobernador de Quintana Roo, Roberto Borge\u00a0 y el alcalde de Cozumel, Fredy Marrufo, el mandatario estatal\u00a0 expres\u00f3 su benepl\u00e1cito por el arribo de este vuelo, que traer\u00e1 grandes beneficios a Cozumel, principalmente en el incremento de la afluencia tur\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

Agradeci\u00f3 el compromiso de la aerol\u00ednea por esta nueva ruta a\u00e9rea, \u201cque seguramente ser\u00e1 un parteaguas de muchas buenas noticias que est\u00e1n por venir para el turismo de la Isla de Cozumel\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dijo que el vuelo ser\u00e1 de mucha utilidad para los pasajeros, para las empresas y desde luego para la gente de Cozumel por el servicio a Miami, que antes se efectuaba v\u00eda Ciudad de M\u00e9xico o Canc\u00fan.<\/p>\n

Agradeci\u00f3 al Fideicomiso de Promoci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica en M\u00e9xico (CPTM) y a American Airlines por la promoci\u00f3n del nuevo vuelo, que llega en buen momento pues \u201cla pr\u00f3xima semana se festejar\u00e1 el D\u00eda de Acci\u00f3n de Gracias y empezar\u00e1n los vuelos de temporada alta\u201d.<\/p>\n

En tanto, el Presidente Municipal, Fredy Marrufo, indic\u00f3 que este puente a\u00e9reo es un atractivo m\u00e1s para todos los turistas de la parte Este de Estados Unidos y para los habitantes de la isla, que podr\u00e1n viajar a Miami, por tal motivo agradeci\u00f3 al sector p\u00fablico y a la empresa American Airlines por la confianza en este destino.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
