Pierre Andr\u00e9 Ruegg, presidente de Skal Internacional en la Riviera Maya, destac\u00f3 que el reconocimiento se entrega a los prestadores de servicios con las mejores pr\u00e1cticas tur\u00edsticas con base en el cuidado del medio ambiente y el desarrollo social y econ\u00f3mico de la localidad donde se llevan a cabo. Alltournative es la \u00fanica empresa mexicana premiada de entre 26 proyectos de 17 pa\u00edses, los cuales evaluaron tres jueces independientes, Ed Roberts, Jack Soufer y John Gray, todos directivos de importantes organizaciones y expertos en turismo ecol\u00f3gico y sostenible. Carlos Mar\u00edn Morales, director general de Alltournative, agradeci\u00f3 el reconocimiento, y record\u00f3 que la empresa surgi\u00f3 hace 15 a\u00f1os con la idea de preservar la herencia maya, dar a conocer su riqueza natural y contribuir al desarrollo de las comunidades ind\u00edgenas, que tienen pocas oportunidades.
