C<\/b>on el fin de robustecer su presencia en el pa\u00eds, The Home Depot abri\u00f3 su cuarta tienda en Quintana Roo, que es la 135 a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n

Ubicada en el boulevard Luis Donaldo Colosio, esta nueva sucursal requiri\u00f3 una inversi\u00f3n de 440 millones de pesos y gener\u00f3 570 empleos directos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de esta tienda, la firma pretende abrir otras en la Rep\u00fablica Mexicana, reforzar su cadena de suministro, fortalecer su estrategia de retail interconectado y mejorar sus indicadores de servicio al cliente.<\/p>\n

A la inauguraci\u00f3n asisti\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 A. Rodr\u00edguez Garza, presidente y director general en M\u00e9xico; \u00c9rika D\u00edaz, vicepresidenta de Mercadotecnia, Venta en L\u00ednea y Servicios Especiales; as\u00ed como Gabriel L\u00f3pez Negrete, vicepresidente de Comercializaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez Garza destac\u00f3 el entusiasmo por abrir esta segunda tienda del a\u00f1o. \u201cQueremos seguir creciendo y estar cada vez m\u00e1s cerca de nuestros clientes para ofrecerles la mejor experiencia, impulsar la generaci\u00f3n de empleo y la actividad econ\u00f3mica de Quintana Roo\u201d.<\/p>\n

En tanto, la gobernadora, Mara Lezama Espinosa, agradeci\u00f3 a la compa\u00f1\u00eda por esta inversi\u00f3n, que refleja que Canc\u00fan sigue siendo tierra de oportunidades.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, destac\u00f3 que m\u00e1s del 70% de la plantilla de esta empresa son mujeres.<\/p>\n

Con esta nueva tienda, The Home Depot supera los 1,200 millones de pesos invertidos en el estado, donde opera cuatro tiendas: dos en Canc\u00fan, una en Playa del Carmen y otra en Chetumal.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa apertura de esta tienda es el reflejo de que, Canc\u00fan, tiene mucho potencial para las inversiones; tenemos una econom\u00eda din\u00e1mica y s\u00f3lida. Brindamos certeza jur\u00eddica a los empresarios e inversionistas\u201d, coment\u00f3 Ana Patricia Peralta, alcaldesa de Benito Ju\u00e1rez.<\/p>\n

Los directivos explicaron que esta nueva tienda brinda la mejor experiencia a sus tres tipos de clientes: Hazlo t\u00fa mismo (Do it yourself \u2013 DIY), Oficio y Profesionales (Pro).<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, es una tienda pet friendly, por lo que invitan a sus clientes a que acudan con sus mascotas.\u00a0<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Como parte de su compromiso y eslogan de \u201cDevolver a la Comunidad\u201d como valor de la empresa, antes de su apertura, personal de la tienda Colosio llev\u00f3 a cabo un Equipo Depot, en el Parque Alfredo V. Bonfil, en el que realiz\u00f3 actividades de pintura, jardiner\u00eda y limpieza para mejorar sus instalaciones.<\/p>\n
