<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nCozumel, Quintana Roo, a 24 de abril de 2023.<\/strong>– En conferencia de prensa, presidida por Sergio Gonz\u00e1lez Rubiera, presidente ejecutivo de la AMATUR, <\/strong>el pasado 21 de abril, se hizo oficial la instalaci\u00f3n de su filial en Cozumel,<\/strong> con el liderazgo de Ivonne Opalin <\/strong>como vicepresidenta. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\u201cAgradezco a Ivonne Opalin<\/strong><\/em> su apoyo y compromiso como vicepresidenta<\/strong> de AMATUR<\/strong> en Cozumel<\/strong>. Sin duda, su activa participaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 impulsar y representar nuestros intereses como gremio, con el trabajo conjunto con DMCs, tour operadores, transportistas y asociaciones de hoteles en la isla de Cozumel, particularmente en temas de gran inter\u00e9s, como lo son la transportaci\u00f3n y movilidad, entre otros\u201d<\/em>, <\/strong>dijo Sergio Gonz\u00e1lez Rubiera, presidente ejecutivo de la AMATUR.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Cozumel<\/strong> registr\u00f3 en el 2022, el arribo de 1\u2019027,594 turistas y, de enero a marzo de 2023, han llegado a la isla 272,789 visitantes, lo que representa un incremento del 13% con relaci\u00f3n al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior. En este sentido, los socios de AMATUR<\/strong> operan el 75% de este mercado.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\u201c<\/strong>Me siento muy honrada de representar a la AMATUR <\/strong>en este hermoso destino tur\u00edstico, que es Cozumel. Con el cargo de Vicepresidenta asumo una gran responsabilidad, ya que, solo en nuestra regi\u00f3n, la industria tur\u00edstica representa m\u00e1s de 1 mil empleos directos y 4 mil indirectos y un gasto anual de, aproximadamente, $35 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/em>\u201d, <\/strong>mencion\u00f3 Ivonne Opalin, vicepresidente de la AMATUR en Cozumel.<\/strong><\/p>\nPosterior al evento, se sostuvo una junta con Juanita O. Alonso Marrufo, presidenta municipal de Cozumel, <\/strong>durante la cual Sergio Gonzalez Rubiera e Ivonne Opalin <\/strong>presentaron la problem\u00e1tica actual sobre transportaci\u00f3n y movilidad, derivada del monopolio que mantienen los taxistas que no permiten la circulaci\u00f3n de camionetas de turismo.
