{"id":55797,"date":"2023-05-02T08:41:41","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T13:41:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=55797"},"modified":"2023-05-02T08:41:41","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T13:41:41","slug":"el-estado-de-la-industria-de-cruceros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=55797","title":{"rendered":"El estado de la industria de cruceros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Como cada marzo, particip\u00e9 en el evento anual <em>Sea Trade Cruise Global,<\/em> que en esta ocasi\u00f3n fue en Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ah\u00ed asiste la crema y nata del sector de cruceros, desde los principales destinos a nivel global, autoridades, proveedores y, por supuesto, representantes de las l\u00edneas navieras. Me dio gusto ver m\u00e1s destinos mexicanos en este evento de gran envergadura.<\/p>\n<p>El evento de apertura inicia siempre con un panel encabezado por los presidentes de las principales navieras. Ah\u00ed estuvieron los de <em>Carnival Corporation<\/em>, la mayor en <em>market share<\/em> global; <em>Royal Caribbean<\/em>, <em>Norwegian Cruise Line<\/em> y <em>Mediterranean Shipping Company MSC<\/em>, quienes hicieron un an\u00e1lisis del estado del sector y compartieron tendencias y noticias importantes.<\/p>\n<p>Los presidentes de las navieras mostraron mucha confianza y un giro al alza para este 2023 ya en un escenario post COVID. En este sentido, se estima que el 85% de aquellas personas que viajaron en crucero antes de la pandemia, lo intenten de nuevo durante este 2023 (de hecho, esto significa un aumento del 6%). Se prev\u00e9 que de aqu\u00ed al 2025 habr\u00e1 4 millones de nuevos pasajeros, lo que significa que hay confianza y entusiasmo por viajar en cruceros. La estad\u00edstica que m\u00e1s me llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n, es que durante este 2023 viajar\u00e1n en total 31.5 millones de pasajeros, un crecimiento del 106% en comparaci\u00f3n con la capacidad operativa del 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Los grandes objetivos del sector este a\u00f1o en materia de competitividad y protecci\u00f3n al medio ambiente y los mares, radica en la \u201cdescarbonizaci\u00f3n\u201d de la industria, a trav\u00e9s de avances importantes en tecnolog\u00eda, infraestructura y operaciones responsables. Ejemplos sobran, pero se trata de que los cruceros naveguen con gas natural en lugar de di\u00e9sel contaminante, eventualmente se busca que los cruceros utilicen energ\u00eda renovable, esto incluye el mejoramiento de los procesos internos e infraestructura verde en cada puerto que visitan.<\/p>\n<p>Se habl\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n del compromiso del sector con los mares y con las comunidades que visitan; m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la derrama (hoy de aproximadamente 750 d\u00f3lares en promedio por pasajero), se busca crear econom\u00edas de escala, mejores empleos y una competencia sana con los otros segmentos de turismo.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Cruceros (CLIA), entre 2019 y 2022, Am\u00e9rica del Norte, seguido de Europa y Asia, contin\u00faan siendo los principales mercados emisores de turistas de cruceros. En cuesti\u00f3n de puertos de importancia en embarque y desembarque, Miami, Puerto Ca\u00f1averal y Port Everglades en Florida siguen siendo los l\u00edderes. En lo que respecta a tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros, Cozumel lidera a nivel global con 3.8 millones de pasajeros en promedio durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, seguido de Nassau, Bahamas con 3.3 millones y Civitavecchia con 1.2 millones.<\/p>\n<p>En conclusi\u00f3n, M\u00e9xico requiere de una pol\u00edtica de cruceros de estado. Es impresionante ver los recursos econ\u00f3micos y el capital pol\u00edtico que invierten los caribe\u00f1os y los europeos para atraer mayores cruceros y m\u00e1s pasajeros. S\u00ed, es uno de los segmentos de turismo m\u00e1s controversiales, pero tambi\u00e9n, el m\u00e1s organizado y el que presenta mayor apertura para adaptarse a las nuevas tendencias y competir de manera sana. Quintana Roo tiene la autoridad y el tama\u00f1o para ser el gran l\u00edder a nivel nacional, lo m\u00e1s rescatable es que la gobernadora Mara Lezama ha mostrado apertura e inter\u00e9s de ser justamente esa l\u00edder que se requiere en el pa\u00eds para seguir posicion\u00e1ndonos a nivel internacional.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Como
