Tras dos d\u00edas de intensa competencia, hoy fueron premiados por la presidenta municipal de Isla Mujeres, Atenea G\u00f3mez, los ganadores del Torneo Internacional \u00abEl Cruce\u00bb Canc\u00fan-Isla Mujeres en su d\u00e9cima s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n.
\nLa alcaldesa agradeci\u00f3 a los competidores haber escogido las aguas de Isla Mujeres a pesar que en el mundo hay m\u00e1s mares y m\u00e1s corrientes.
\n\u00abTienen mucha valent\u00eda haber cruzado estos 10 kil\u00f3metros, una gran haza\u00f1a\u00bb, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

\nEste domingo la competencia fue extenuante y algunos duraron m\u00e1s de tres horas en el agua en el reto del cruce de
\n10 kil\u00f3metros desde playa Caracol de Canc\u00fan hasta playa El Pescador de Isla Mujeres.
\nEn la rama femenil, el primer lugar fue para F\u00e1tima Portillo, de El Salvador, con tiempo de dos horas con 5 segundos y 2 cent\u00e9simas; el segundo pelda\u00f1o fue para Priscila Camila de la Pe\u00f1a, de M\u00e9xico con 2 horas 14 minutos 21 segundos, con una cent\u00e9cima y el tercer esca\u00f1o fue tambi\u00e9n para otra mexicana Regina Alejandra de la Pe\u00f1a con tiempo de dos horas 14 minutos 34 segundos con 4 cent\u00e9simas.
\nEn la rama varonil el ganador fue Daniel Delgadillo de M\u00e9xico que par\u00f3 los cron\u00f3metros en una hora 49 minutos 20 segundos con una cent\u00e9cima; el segundo esca\u00f1o lo obtuvo Maximiliano Paccot Piriz con resultado de una hora 55 minutos y 20 segundos con 8 cent\u00e9simas de Uruguay; mientras que el tercer lugar fue para David Olvera L\u00f3pez tambi\u00e9n de M\u00e9xico, con una hora 55 minutos 59 segundos y 8 cent\u00e9simas.<\/p>\n

\nEn total fueron mil 400 competidores de 18 pa\u00edses y 29 estados del pa\u00eds, entre los participantes hab\u00edan deportistas de M\u00e9xico, Estados Unidos, Colombia, Costa Rica Canad\u00e1, El Salvador y Brasil. por mencionar algunos, impulsando el turismo deportivo en la entidad.
\nRafael Hern\u00e1ndez, coordinador del torneo, coment\u00f3 que el evento es un reto, las corrientes no son f\u00e1ciles para ello se cerr\u00f3 el circuito en coordinaci\u00f3n con Capitan\u00eda de Puerto y as\u00ed evitar accidentes acu\u00e1ticos.
\nCabe destacar que \u2018El Cruce\u2019 ha sido considerado por la World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) dentro de los 20 nados m\u00e1s importantes a nivel mundial y como uno de los m\u00e1s importantes de M\u00e9xico debido a su complejidad de operaci\u00f3n y belleza.<\/p>\n
