Tan s\u00f3lo d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de colgarse el oro en los Nacionales CONADE 2023, el gladiador chetumale\u00f1o Abraham \u00c1valos Canul, sigui\u00f3 cosechando triunfos en su carrera deportiva al obtener la presea de plata para M\u00e9xico y alzarse como subcampe\u00f3n en el \u201cCampeonato Panamericano U-17 2023\u201d de la United World Wrestlig (UWW) de la disciplina de luchas asociadas, que se disput\u00f3 en el Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Mexicano (COM), de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

Respaldado por el Gobierno de Quintana Roo a trav\u00e9s de la Comisi\u00f3n para la Juventud y el Deporte (COJUDEQ), el joven atleta quintanarroense cumpli\u00f3 con su participaci\u00f3n en la m\u00e1xima justa nacional y posteriormente, viaj\u00f3 para tener una participaci\u00f3n de talla internacional, representando con buenos resultados al pa\u00eds y al estado y reafirmando su lugar con la selecci\u00f3n mexicana juvenil de la especialidad.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl deporte siempre ser\u00e1 una herramienta importante para la ni\u00f1ez y juventud quintanarroense, por eso estamos comprometidos en brindarle todo el apoyo a nuestros atletas para que transciendan no solo a nivel nacional, sino a escenarios internacionales, as\u00ed como lo estipula el Nuevo Acuerdo por el Bienestar y Desarrollo, promovido por la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa\u201d, coment\u00f3 Eric Arcila Arjona, presidente de la COJUDEQ.<\/p>\n

Abraham \u00c1valos, atleta residente del Centro Estatal Deportivo de Alto Rendimiento (CEDAR) en Chetumal, compiti\u00f3 representando a M\u00e9xico en la categor\u00eda Cadetes (U-17), dentro del estilo Grecorromano de la divisi\u00f3n de menos de 110 kilos, y ya instalado en la final se enfrent\u00f3 al representante de Estados Unidos y en una intensa batalla, el mexicano finaliz\u00f3 colg\u00e1ndose al pecho la presea plateada.<\/p>\n

Previamente, en su camino a la medalla de plata, el joven chetumale\u00f1o tuvo una gran presentaci\u00f3n venciendo al representante de Per\u00fa y posteriormente, en la antesala de la final no tuvo complicaciones para superar al gladiador de Brasil.<\/p>\n

El luchador quintanarroense, quien entrena bajo la tutela de Lauriano Licea en Chetumal, debido a sus importantes resultados en los recientes cert\u00e1menes, seguir\u00e1 trabajando para mantenerse como un elemento para la selecci\u00f3n mexicana juvenil de la especialidad y as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n ser considerado para futuras competencias internacionales.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
