{"id":5854,"date":"2014-01-28T17:42:52","date_gmt":"2014-01-28T23:42:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/innovatori.space\/lat21\/?p=5854"},"modified":"2014-01-31T18:24:28","modified_gmt":"2014-02-01T00:24:28","slug":"un-campeon-de-clase-mundial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=5854","title":{"rendered":"Un campe\u00f3n de clase mundial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tuve el privilegio de conocer a Don <strong>Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n<\/strong> en persona hace algunos a\u00f1os por conducto de mi amigo<strong> Pepe G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, aun cuando hac\u00eda muchos a\u00f1os yo sab\u00eda qui\u00e9n era Don <strong>Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n<\/strong>. El presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n Mundial de Boxeo (CMB), a quien desde mi ni\u00f1ez ve\u00eda junto a campeones de mi tierra como <strong>Miguel Canto<\/strong>, <strong>Guty Espadas <\/strong>y, otros no de mi tierra, como <strong>Joe Frazier<\/strong> o <strong>Muhamed Ali<\/strong>, ese era Don <strong>Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Desde chico me enorgullec\u00eda saber que un mexicano era el presidente de un organismo deportivo a nivel mundial. Cuando <strong>Pepe<\/strong> me lo present\u00f3, lo primero que hice, despu\u00e9s de saludarlo, fue preguntarle si me pod\u00eda tomar una foto con \u00e9l. Era un honor estar con tal personalidad. Posteriormente, tuve muchas oportunidades de convivir con Don <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong> en los eventos, en las conferencias de prensa y en los espect\u00e1culos de boxeo organizados por <strong>Pepe <\/strong>y con el apoyo del presidente de la CMB.<\/p>\n<p>Cada vez que lo trataba, cada vez que me lo encontraba, cada vez que lo saludaba, me cautivaba su mirada\u00a0 de hombre bueno que est\u00e1 en paz con la humanidad. Pudiera uno decir que era una iron\u00eda que, el organismo m\u00e1s importante de box en el mundo estuviera presidido por un hombre de paz. Y, a pesar de todas las tribulaciones de salud que enfrent\u00f3 en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os de su vida, no hab\u00eda manera de quitarle la sonrisa de los labios. Ese fue Don<strong> Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hace unos d\u00edas, cuando fui al Pante\u00f3n Franc\u00e9s a despedirme de Don <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong> y rendirle mi homenaje, s\u00f3lo pude decirle a su hijo <strong>Mauricio<\/strong> que ten\u00edamos mucho que celebrar por todo el tiempo que nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3 y todas las ense\u00f1anzas que nos comparti\u00f3. Con el mismo cari\u00f1o con el que trataba a hombres del perfil de<strong> Carlos Slim<\/strong>, con ese mismo cari\u00f1o trataba al m\u00e1s humilde boxeador que lo saludaba. A trav\u00e9s del box, Don <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong> ayud\u00f3 a mucha gente e hizo de este un mundo mejor. Ese fue Don<strong> Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Por eso y por mucho m\u00e1s, Don <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong> fue recibido en el para\u00edso con los honores que se merece un campe\u00f3n de clase mundial. Gracias por su cari\u00f1o y su amistad Don <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong>, alg\u00fan d\u00eda estaremos juntos en las funciones de box que organice en donde se encuentre y, aunque espero verlo de
