Con la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de mil corredores provenientes de 21 estados de la Rep\u00fablica Mexicana y de ocho pa\u00edses, se realiz\u00f3 con \u00e9xito la segunda edici\u00f3n de la Carrera Chetumal 21K, la cual fue toda una fiesta deportiva teniendo como escenario el Boulevard Bah\u00eda y que sirvi\u00f3 para impulsar a la capital quintanarroense como un escenario perfecto para eventos deportivos.<\/p>\n

Con el apoyo y respaldo del Gobierno de Quintana Roo a trav\u00e9s de la Comisi\u00f3n para la Juventud y el Deporte (COJUDEQ), en conjunto con el Ayuntamiento de Oth\u00f3n P. Blanco y el comit\u00e9 organizador del 21K Chetumal, se realiz\u00f3 este certamen, en el que los competidores disfrutaron de una espectacular ruta que ten\u00eda un paisaje natural y que se hizo bajo un ambiente familiar.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos muy felices de realizar esta segunda edici\u00f3n del 21K Chetumal, un evento que sin duda ayuda a la promoci\u00f3n del turismo deportivo en nuestro estado y tambi\u00e9n muestra a nuestra capital como un escenario perfecto para la realizaci\u00f3n de eventos deportivos de talla internacional\u201d, coment\u00f3 Eric Arcila Arjona, presidente de la COJUDEQ.<\/p>\n

El titular de la COJUDEQ en compa\u00f1\u00eda de Yensunni Mart\u00ednez, presidenta municipal de Oth\u00f3n P. Blanco; y Yurissan Hern\u00e1ndez Rovira, organizadora; as\u00ed como la titular de la secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico, Karla Almanza; el secretario de Turismo Estatal, Bernardo Cueto Riestra; y el presidente de la CANACO, Amir Efr\u00e9n Padilla, fueron los encargados de dar el banderazo de salida.<\/p>\n

Pasando a los resultados, en lo que fue la categor\u00eda principal el Medio Marat\u00f3n (21 kil\u00f3metros), el primer lugar en la rama varonil fue Wilfred Nyatogo que hizo una marca de una hora con 11 minutos y tres segundos (1:11.03); el segundo puesto fue para Cornelio L\u00f3pez Felipe que cronometr\u00f3 1:11.47 y seguido de David Masega Gwaco que hizo 1:13.17.<\/p>\n

Mientras que, en la rama femenil, la triunfadora absoluta fue la mexicana Argentina Valdepe\u00f1as Cerna que cruz\u00f3 la meta con tiempo de 1:21.03; dejando en el segundo sitio a Genoveva Jelagat Kigen con un tiempo total de 1:25.08 y en tercer lugar a Rosa Cruz, que marc\u00f3 un registro de 1:35.26.<\/p>\n

Cabe resaltar, que este certamen que tuvo una proyecci\u00f3n internacional, participaron corredores de talla elite como son Argentina Valdepe\u00f1as, m\u00faltiple ganadora de maratones y medios maratones; as\u00ed como Genoveva Jelagat, ganadora del Medio Marat\u00f3n de Canc\u00fan; adem\u00e1s, de David Masega, Cornelio L\u00f3pez, Bernard Kibet, Jes\u00fas G\u00f3mez Flores y Marcos Vel\u00e1zquez, triatleta con debilidad visual.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
