Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, 17 de agosto de 2023. -Como un homenaje a los trabajadores del sector tur\u00edstico, quienes con su esfuerzo diario contribuyen al \u00e9xito tur\u00edstico de Isla Mujeres, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la Segunda Edici\u00f3n del Festival del Ceviche en el marco del 173 Aniversario de Isla Mujeres.<\/p>\n

Durante el evento, que se realiz\u00f3 en la Explanada Municipal y fue encabezado por la alcaldesa Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, se llevaron a cabo los concursos del Ceviche y C\u00f3ctel Isle\u00f1o 2023, organizado a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Turismo.<\/p>\n

En su mensaje, la Presidenta Municipal de Isla Mujeres, Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, agradeci\u00f3 el apoyo y participaci\u00f3n del sector empresarial, hotelero y de la ciudadan\u00eda, en la organizaci\u00f3n de los concursos, ya que a trav\u00e9s de ellos se presenta al mundo la gran riqueza gastron\u00f3mica y cultural del municipio.<\/p>\n

De igual forma, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que a trav\u00e9s de la elaboraci\u00f3n de ceviches y c\u00f3cteles con productos t\u00edpicos de la regi\u00f3n, se da a conocer la historia y esencia de la isla y su gente.<\/p>\n

\u00abLo m\u00e1s importante es mostrar al mundo lo que tenemos, cuidando nuestros atractivos, sin perder su esencia, conservando el medio ambiente y la alegr\u00eda y hospitalidad que caracteriza a las isle\u00f1as e isle\u00f1os\u00bb, refiri\u00f3 la alcaldesa.<\/p>\n

El jurado calificador lo integraron los prestigiados Chefs Manuel Isa\u00edas Alamilla, investigador del Patrimonio Culinario de Quintana Roo, Federico L\u00f3pez, Obed Manuel Reyes May, Wilson Alonzo B\u00e1ez y el director de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Turismo de Isla Mujeres, Jos\u00e9 Jes\u00fas Castillo Maga\u00f1a. Para el Concurso del C\u00f3ctel lo conformaron el Chef Mercy Bezabel Pacheco, Gustavo Nava, Sergio Mu\u00f1iz y el Director General de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Turismo, Jos\u00e9 Jes\u00fas Castillo Maga\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Los ganadores del Segundo Concurso del Ceviche fueron en primer lugar Diego Mart\u00edn, de Mama Rosa; en segundo lugar Patzy Marleny Navarrete, del Hotel Garza Blanca; y en tercero Jos\u00e9 Luis Miranda, de Mayan Beach. Del Concurso del C\u00f3ctel el primer lugar fue para V\u00edctor Hugo Gonz\u00e1lez, de Xantolo; el segundo para Karen Paz, del Proyecto Mayahuel; y el tercero para Julio Quiroz, de la Marina Bartolom\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Los ganadores recibieron reconocimientos y m\u00e1s de 50 mil pesos en premios tanto en efectivo como en especie.<\/p>\n
