{"id":62068,"date":"2023-09-21T11:20:13","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T16:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=62068"},"modified":"2023-09-21T11:39:13","modified_gmt":"2023-09-21T16:39:13","slug":"llevan-restos-de-la-orca-lolita-a-sus-aguas-natales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=62068","title":{"rendered":"Llevan restos de la orca Lolita a sus aguas natales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luego de un mes de su muerte, los restos de la orca Lolita, que pas\u00f3 las \u00faltimas cinco d\u00e9cadas en el\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/?s=miami+seaquarium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miami Seaquarium<\/a> , fueron devueltos a la tribu Lummi Nation, en Washington.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed lo inform\u00f3 el Miami Seaquarium en sus redes sociales. \u00abBajo un cielo brillante en Bellingham, Washington, aterriz\u00f3 un avi\u00f3n fletado por Miami Seaquarium para traer a Lolita de regreso a casa\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Comentaron que acompa\u00f1ada por el CEO de The Dolphin Company, Eduardo Albor, el Director Veterinario, Dr. Guillermo S\u00e1nchez, y representantes de Lummi Nation, Lolita fue entregada a la tribu Lummi Nation en el aeropuerto y llevada a la reserva donde ser\u00e1 llorada seg\u00fan a las tradiciones de la tribu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/lolita.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62069\" src=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/lolita.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"383\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lolita, la \u00faltima superviviente de las ballenas capturadas en los a\u00f1os 70 en la isla Puget, se convirti\u00f3 en la \u00fanica que regres\u00f3 a casa y ser\u00e1 honrada por su familia.<\/p>\n<p>La tribu Lummi Nation expres\u00f3 su profunda gratitud a The Dolphin Company, quien recientemente adquiri\u00f3 Miami Seaquarium, por permitirle regresar a casa y por la oportunidad de esparcir ahora sus cenizas en el lugar donde naci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abNosotros, en Dolphin Company, nos enorgullecemos de hacer posible que Lolita regrese a casa y de reunirla con sus antepasados, seg\u00fan la tribu Lummi Nation\u00bb, expres\u00f3 el Miami Seaquarium, operado por The Dolphin Company desde el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Together with Raynell who expressed her gratitude to me and the team of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheDolphinCo_?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TheDolphinCo_<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MiamiSeaquarium?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MiamiSeaquarium<\/a>. Lolita ser\u00e1 recibida por su familia, con los honores y ceremonias de la cultura Lummi a\u00fan preservada\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al delf\u00edn Li&#8217;i, el compa\u00f1ero de toda la vida de Lolita, dijeron que ser\u00e1 trasladado a una instalaci\u00f3n acreditada donde tendr\u00e1 la oportunidad de pasar el resto de su vida con compa\u00f1eros de su misma especie. \u00abExpresamos
