\nPuerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, 14 de noviembre de 2023.- La alcaldesa Blanca Merari Tziu Mu\u00f1oz entreg\u00f3 hoy cinco nuevas patrullas a la Secretar\u00eda municipal de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito, a fin de brindar a los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n el equipamiento necesario para responder a los llamado ciudadanos con efectividad y prontitud.
\n\u201cLa demanda de seguridad es una constante, la gente quiere y merece caminar tranquila por las calles, tener la certeza que sus hijos e hijas llegar\u00e1n con bien a la escuela, a sus hogares. Nosotros nos hemos abocado a trabajar en ese objetivo de manera permanente, es uno de mis principales compromisos y responsabilidades\u201d, dijo la Presidenta Municipal.
\nAcompa\u00f1ada por el titular de la corporaci\u00f3n, Alfredo Valdez de Le\u00f3n, indic\u00f3 que con la entrega de 3 patrullas pick up y 2 sed\u00e1n equipadas, adquiridas con recursos del Fondo de Aportaciones para el Fortalecimiento de los Municipios y de las Demarcaciones Territoriales del Distrito Federal (Fortamun), se refrenda el compromiso de su administraci\u00f3n con la seguridad de los portomorelenses.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cEstas patrullas nos permitir\u00e1n fortalecer y reforzar la vigilancia, nuestros polic\u00edas municipales tendr\u00e1n las condiciones adecuadas para realizar sus tareas en beneficio de la gente. Hay que decir que el desempe\u00f1o \u00f3ptimo de las labores de protecci\u00f3n, seguridad y combate a la delincuencia, sin duda pasan por contar con las herramientas necesarias para su ejecuci\u00f3n\u201d, indic\u00f3 Blanca Merari Tziu.
\nLa Alcaldesa, quien tambi\u00e9n estuvo acompa\u00f1ada por el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n; el oficial Mayor, Jos\u00e9 Luis Jonathan Yong Mendoza, y el regidor Gonzalo Calder\u00f3n Poot, reiter\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos est\u00e1 en la ruta correcta, la de transformar al municipio a trav\u00e9s de acciones concretas como el fortalecimiento a las tareas de seguridad y las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n que inhiban hechos delictivos.
\nPor su parte, Alfredo Valdez reconoci\u00f3 el compromiso de la Presidenta Municipal de fortalecer no s\u00f3lo la profesionalizaci\u00f3n de los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n de dotarlos de herramientas clave para el mejoramiento de las funciones en temas de seguridad p\u00fablica.
\nCon la entrega de las patrullas, dijo, se refuerza la capacidad operativa de la Polic\u00eda Preventiva, de Tr\u00e1nsito y del Grupo Especializado de Atenci\u00f3n a la Violencia Intrafamiliar y de G\u00e9nero (Geavig), al intensificar la presencia de esos cuerpos de seguridad municipal.<\/p>\n
