En esa ocasi\u00f3n\u00a0participaron 87 compradores y 40 expositores de Canc\u00fan y la Riviera Maya.\u00a0Gener\u00f3 alrededor de 4 mil cuartos noche en los hoteles del destino.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En 2004, y debido al\u00a0potencial que representa el evento, el CPTM decide brindar apoyo para convertirlo en lo que hoy es M\u00e9xico Showcase &amp; Travel Expo<em>,<\/em>\u00a0un evento institucional en el que se promueven todos los destinos tur\u00edsticos del pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: large;\">A\u00f1o con a\u00f1o es mayor el n\u00famero tanto de compradores como de expositores que participan en este importante evento, creado por Global Incentive Management, uno de los DMC\u00b4s (Destination Management Company) m\u00e1s reconocidos en este polo tur\u00edstico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Este a\u00f1o se esperan m\u00e1s de 100\u00a0<em>meeting planners<\/em>\u00a0(Organizadores de convenciones y viajes de incentivos principalmente) provenientes de Estados Unidos, Canad\u00e1 y M\u00e9xico, que a lo largo de tres d\u00edas realizar\u00e1n diferentes actividades que les permitir\u00e1n conocer y disfrutar de las maravillas que ofrece este\u00a0destino del Caribe Mexicano y Mexico.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Andy Ortiz, director general de GIM, fundador y presidente de Mexico Showcase comenta que\u201cM\u00e9xico es un pa\u00eds que lo tiene todo, servicio, infraestructura y una c\u00e1lida hospitalidad que nos caracteriza, por lo que hay que seguir creciendo como destino y hacer equipo todos,\u00a0\u00a0hoteles, restaurantes, DMC\u00b4s, entre otros, para ser\u00a0 l\u00edderes en la industria convirti\u00e9ndonos en la locaci\u00f3n perfecta para los grupos de negocios\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La ceremonia inaugural se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en el hotel Sandos Canc\u00fan, el 24 de abril y contar\u00e1 con la presencia de Cecilia Cruz, directora de Meetings Industry del CPTM en Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1;
