Apuesta por un punto de equilibrio entre el bienestar animal y el beneficio para la industria tur\u00edstica y miles de trabajadores<\/b><\/p>\n

P<\/b>ara lograr un equilibrio entre la protecci\u00f3n animal y la defensa de los derechos laborales de casi 5 mil trabajadores en el estado de manera directa y 15 mil indirectos, la senadora de Morena por Quintana Roo, Marybel Villegas Canch\u00e9, asever\u00f3 que buscar\u00e1 que el Pleno del Senado apruebe diversas modificaciones a la propuesta de prohibici\u00f3n de los delfinarios.<\/p>\n

La propuesta, proveniente de C\u00e1mara de Diputados, plantea desaparecer de manera radical los h\u00e1bitats que tienen mam\u00edferos marinos bajo cuidado humano, lo que afectar\u00eda a los trabajadores; de los 33 establecimientos que existen de este tipo en el pa\u00eds, el 90% se ubica en la entidad.<\/p>\n

\u201cSi prohibimos la reproducci\u00f3n en general vamos a causar un grave da\u00f1o a los animales, tendr\u00edan que ponerles hormonas y esto al final va a da\u00f1arlos m\u00e1s\u201d, indic\u00f3. Por eso, considera que la prohibici\u00f3n debe ser a la reproducci\u00f3n artificial, pero no a la natural.<\/p>\n

Otra de sus propuestas es que los propietarios de estos animales deber\u00e1n garantizar medidas de trato digno y respetuoso hasta su muerte; \u201clo que quisimos es darle certeza jur\u00eddica a esta reforma ya que viene muy ambigua. Nosotros estamos a favor de la protecci\u00f3n de los animales, pero tambi\u00e9n buscar un punto medio porque creemos que esta reforma viene muy radical\u201d, argument\u00f3.<\/p>\n
