\nAcompa\u00f1ada de sus hijas Gema y Joyce subi\u00f3 el interruptor que ilumin\u00f3 el palacio con las flores de noche buena, esferas de luz, y un Santa Claus, para luego saludar a las y los ni\u00f1os con quienes se tom\u00f3 la foto del recuerdo.
\n\u201cEste evento es una muestra de unidad y esperanza. Las luces que iluminan nuestras calles representan la luz de la esperanza, la solidaridad y la paz que todos deseamos para nuestro municipio\u201d, destac\u00f3 Blanca Merari.
\nDe manera simult\u00e1nea se llev\u00f3 a cabo el encendido de los arbolitos navide\u00f1os y luces que adornan el parque de la Zetina Gasca, el Parque Fundadores, la playa de la Ventana al Mar, la avenida Rojo G\u00f3mez y el puente de entrada a la zona tur\u00edstica del municipio.
\nCabe destacar que en el evento estuvieron presentes el secretario general del Ayuntamiento, Jos\u00e9 de Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pay\u00e1n; Brittany Janney L\u00f3pez, directora general de Cultura y las Artes; los secretarios municipales de Desarrollo Urbano y Ecolog\u00eda, Rolando Melo Novelo, y de Seguridad P\u00fablica y Tr\u00e1nsito Alfredo Valdez de Le\u00f3n; los regidores Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Vera Uribe, Irma \u00c1vila M\u00e9ndez y Mar\u00eda Fernanda Alvear, entre otros funcionarios.
\nPreviamente, la Presidenta Municipal encabez\u00f3, en el parque principal de Leona Vicario, el encendido del \u00e1rbol navide\u00f1o 2023.
\n\u201cEstamos en el arranque de una de las \u00e9pocas m\u00e1s hermosas del a\u00f1o: la temporada navide\u00f1a, en la que recordamos la importancia de la convivencia, solidaridad y reflexi\u00f3n\u201d, expres\u00f3.
\nEn Puerto Morelos estamos en la ruta correcta, la de fortalecer nuestros s\u00edmbolos de esperanza, paz y amor para hacer de nuestro entorno un lugar m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido para todos, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.
