Cozumel.- Con un ambiente festivo, en medio de la algarab\u00eda por el 150 aniversario del Carnaval de Cozumel, fueron recibidos los miles de pasajeros que llegaron a bordo del barco m\u00e1s grande del mundo, el Icon of de Seas, que realiz\u00f3 una parada inaugural en esta paradis\u00edaca isla.<\/p>\n

Acompa\u00f1ada por la presidenta municipal de Cozumel, Juanita Alonso Marrufo, la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa dio la bienvenida a los cruceristas, a la tripulaci\u00f3n y a los ejecutivos de la empresa Royal Caribbean International que participan en esta jornada inaugural en este destino l\u00edder en turismo de cruceros, pero a la vez generador de empleos formales, con las prestaciones de ley.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEsta ceremonia viene acompa\u00f1ada por partida doble. Por un lado, la llegada del Icon of the Seas, el crucero m\u00e1s grande del mundo, y los festejos del 150 Aniversario de uno de los Carnavales m\u00e1s importantes de M\u00e9xico, que se celebra aqu\u00ed en Cozumel\u201d explic\u00f3 la titular del Ejecutivo.<\/p>\n

A bordo de la nave, la gobernadora Mara Lezama salud\u00f3 a Michael Bayley, Presidente y CEO de la Royal Caribbean International \u201ccon quien nos une esa filosof\u00eda de que cuando hacemos las cosas bien, los resultados se ven en beneficio para todas y todos\u201d.<\/p>\n

Como parte del protocolo, la bienvenida incluy\u00f3 el intercambio de llave y entrega de placas por el Gobierno del Estado y los ejecutivos de la empresa.<\/p>\n

La gobernadora de Quintana Roo destac\u00f3 que hoy se transforma la actividad con un Nuevo Modelo Tur\u00edstico que contempla la preservaci\u00f3n de nuestra riqueza natural, atractivos internacionales para miles de turistas y generador de empleos, como se establece en el Nuevo Acuerdo por el Bienestar y Desarrollo que impulsa una prosperidad compartida para todas y todos.<\/p>\n

Puntualiz\u00f3 que la llegada del Icon of the Seas no s\u00f3lo significa un nuevo cap\u00edtulo para Cozumel, sino que tambi\u00e9n refuerza
\nnuestra dedicaci\u00f3n responsable vibrante por una actividad que es motor de la econom\u00eda y sustento de miles y miles de quintanarroenses.<\/p>\n
