trabajando para mantener tendencia de crecimiento, hasta ahora de ocho puntos: Almaguer Salazar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Canc\u00fan es el destino tur\u00edstico n\u00famero uno para viajar en las pr\u00f3ximas vacaciones de verano, por encima de Orlando y Las Vegas y es considerado el centro tur\u00edstico m\u00e1s importante de Am\u00e9rica Latina y de los cinco m\u00e1s reconocidos a nivel mundial, revelaron Orbitz y Expedia, compa\u00f1\u00edas l\u00edderes en viajes online.<\/p>\n<p>En conferencia de prensa, el Director General de la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de Canc\u00fan (OVC), Jes\u00fas Almaguer Salazar se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en el segundo cuatrimestre del a\u00f1o, de mayo a agosto pr\u00f3ximo, Orbitz dio a conocer que las preferencias de los viajeros colocaron a Canc\u00fan por encima de destinos tradicionales de Estados Unidos y lo coloca como \u201cel principal destino reservado para el verano\u201d, cuando el a\u00f1o pasado ocup\u00f3 la tercera posici\u00f3n en las preferencias de los viajeros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEste a\u00f1o estamos por encima de Orlando y Las Vegas, lo cual es un reflejo del trabajo en equipo con los empresarios, Gobierno del Estado y el Consejo de Promoci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica de M\u00e9xico para llegar a esta posici\u00f3n\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, otra de las grandes agencias online, Expedia asegur\u00f3 que, de acuerdo con sus ventas, Canc\u00fan ha sido el destino n\u00famero uno de Am\u00e9rica Latina, tanto el a\u00f1o pasado como el primer cuatrimestre del 2014, y actualmente la mayorista lo tiene considerado \u201cdentro del top 5 a nivel mundial\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El directivo puntualiz\u00f3 que lo m\u00e1s significativo de estas tendencias es que, tanto Orbitz como Expedia, reflejan directamente la tendencia del consumidor, y no solo de los agentes de viajes, y estas preferencias no son exclusivas de los mercados de Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1, sino son a nivel internacional, debido a que estas empresas cuentan con oficinas de ventas en los principales mercados del mundo, como Sudam\u00e9rica, Asia y Europa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCanc\u00fan est\u00e1 muy bien posicionado. El a\u00f1o pasado fue un buen a\u00f1o y ahora lo estamos superando. Llevamos un buen 2014 y estamos seguros que seguir\u00e1 as\u00ed porque los mercados est\u00e1n respondiendo bien. En este primer cuarto del a\u00f1o estamos por encima del a\u00f1o pasado y seguiremos trabajando para se siga manteniendo la tendencia de crecimiento\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3 Almaguer Salazar, quien estim\u00f3 un crecimiento de ocho puntos por encima del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p>El titular de la OVC de Canc\u00fan record\u00f3 que hace unos d\u00edas, el portal coreano\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/daum.net\/\">Daum.net<\/a>, uno de los m\u00e1s importantes de ese pa\u00eds con m\u00e1s de 10 millones de visitas al d\u00eda, anunci\u00f3 que Canc\u00fan fue la palabra m\u00e1s buscada de ese p\u00e1gina lo que da muestra del inter\u00e9s por visitar este destino. \u201cCon Bada Tours hemos realizado m\u00e1s de 100 trips en los pasados 18 meses y contemplamos asistir a la feria tur\u00edstica de Se\u00fal y a una caravana en Asia, lo cual nos permitir\u00e1 recibir un flujo m\u00e1s importante de turistas de Jap\u00f3n y Corea\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, el Director General de la OVC de Canc\u00fan anunci\u00f3 la celebraci\u00f3n de la pr\u00f3ximo edici\u00f3n del Wine &amp; Food Festival Canc\u00fan Riviera, del 12 al 15 de marzo del 2015, as\u00ed como dio a conocer los satisfactorios resultados obtenidos en la reciente edici\u00f3n de este encuentro gastron\u00f3mico que logr\u00f3 una difusi\u00f3n de 120 millones de impactos en 197 diferentes medios de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El festival, que tuvo como objetivo celebrar a los mejores chefs de M\u00e9xico y Francia, cont\u00f3 con un crecimiento significativo con la participaci\u00f3n de 123 periodistas nacionales e internacionales, 75 casas vitivin\u00edcolas, un presupuesto de 1.5 millones de d\u00f3lares y m\u00e1s de 5 mil visitantes en 24 eventos organizados
