Canc\u00fan, Q. R., a 21 de marzo de 2024.\u2013 En un acto celebrado en las instalaciones de la Secretar\u00eda Municipal de Seguridad Ciudadana y Tr\u00e1nsito, autoridades municipales reconocieron la labor de los elementos de la corporaci\u00f3n e hicieron un llamado a seguir trabajando con honestidad, responsabilidad y disciplina para mantener la seguridad de la ciudad y anunciaron que ya se trabaja en un mecanismo de incentivos, reconocimientos y condecoraciones para los elementos que destaquen en la encomienda de proteger y servir a la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Durante el pase de lista, la Presidenta Municipal resalt\u00f3 la importancia de la labor que realizan los elementos de seguridad ciudadana, quienes d\u00eda a d\u00eda arriesgan su vida para proteger a los cancunenses. Adem\u00e1s, anunci\u00f3 que se est\u00e1 trabajando en la gesti\u00f3n de reconocimientos y condecoraciones para los mejores elementos, los cuales se otorgar\u00e1n mes con mes.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el Secretario Municipal de Seguridad Ciudadana y Tr\u00e1nsito mencion\u00f3 que se han implementado diversas estrategias para fortalecer la seguridad en el municipio, como la creaci\u00f3n de la Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata (URI) y la adquisici\u00f3n de nuevo equipamiento para los elementos.<\/p>\n

Entre las acciones recientes realizadas por la corporaci\u00f3n, se destaca la detenci\u00f3n del presunto responsable del homicidio de un integrante de la Secretar\u00eda, ocurrido en septiembre de 2023, as\u00ed como la captura de dos sujetos que habr\u00edan privado de la libertad a una mujer de origen colombiano.<\/p>\n
