Ante los asistentes que llenaron el parque de Las Gradas de la colonia San Miguel en la apertura de campa\u00f1a electoral, el candidato de la alianza PRI-PAN para la presidencia municipal de Cozumel, Pedro Joaqu\u00edn, enfatiz\u00f3: \u00abVamos a ganar. Estoy convencido de eso. Pero vendr\u00e1 lo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil, que ser\u00e1 recuperar ese Cozumel que nos han arrebatado en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os. Morena ha destruido la paz y tranquilidad de nuestra isla, y no fuimos nosotros del PRI o los del PAN, fueron ellos y en menos de tres a\u00f1os acabaron con 175 a\u00f1os de paz y prosperidad en esta isla; que asuman su responsabilidad ante el pueblo cozumele\u00f1o\u201d.<\/p>\n

Critic\u00f3 que ninguna autoridad asume las consecuencias: \u201cNos duele mucho lo que le est\u00e1n haciendo a Cozumel y lo m\u00e1s tr\u00e1gico es que no hay ninguna autoridad que salga m\u00ednimo a dar la cara. M\u00ednimo a decirnos que van a hacer todo lo posible por componer esto, pero yo s\u00e9 que de la mano de Perla y de la mano de todos ustedes vamos a sacarlos el pr\u00f3ximo 2 de junio del palacio municipal\u201d.<\/p>\n

Subray\u00f3 \u201ccomo dijo Perla Tun Pech, nos une ese amor por Cozumel. Ese amor y la desgracia por la que estamos pasando con la inseguridad, nos llev\u00f3 a sentarnos como dos cozumele\u00f1os m\u00e1s\u201d.
