Ante empresarios del sector tur\u00edstico de M\u00e9xico y Portugal, reunidos en esta ciudad, la Secretaria de Turismo del Gobierno de la Rep\u00fablica, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, afirm\u00f3 que nuestro pa\u00eds tiene todos los elementos para ser considerado un destino de inversi\u00f3n internacional, l\u00edder en desarrollo.<\/p>\n

Las reformas estructurales que promueve el Gobierno Federal impulsar\u00e1n la productividad y la competitividad, lo que genera un entorno propicio para la inversi\u00f3n, asegur\u00f3 Ruiz Massieu, quien acompa\u00f1a al Presidente Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, en la gira que realiza por varios pa\u00edses de Europa.<\/p>\n

La titular de la SECTUR indic\u00f3 que estas reformas no s\u00f3lo desencadenar\u00e1n un crecimiento econ\u00f3mico estable, sino que beneficiar\u00e1n directamente al sector tur\u00edstico, al propiciar la proyecci\u00f3n de un pa\u00eds seguro y confiable, consolidando destinos y mercados, y con una calidad internacional en los servicios.<\/p>\n

Manifest\u00f3 que por lo anterior, es importante llevar a cabo acciones de manera coordinada con el sector privado que repercutan en beneficio de la actividad tur\u00edstica, por lo que se torna deseable, dijo, fortalecer la cooperaci\u00f3n con la empresa privada portuguesa, de manera que se impulse la industria tur\u00edstica entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, la Secretaria de Turismo expres\u00f3 que hay el firme inter\u00e9s de trabajar con los empresarios de Portugal, con el prop\u00f3sito de definir estrategias puntuales y claramente\u00a0 definidas que permitan la consolidaci\u00f3n de inversiones fruct\u00edferas y productivas que impulsen los flujos tur\u00edsticos entre las dos naciones.<\/p>\n

Ruiz Massieu sostuvo que el turismo es una prioridad en la agenda nacional, toda vez que es una de las actividades econ\u00f3micas que ha mostrado un crecimiento estable y din\u00e1mico, a\u00fan durante crisis econ\u00f3micas, y demostrado ser capaz de generar riqueza, empleo y mejorar la calidad de vida.<\/p>\n

Refiri\u00f3 que durante 2013 los principales indicadores del sector registraron una importante alza, por lo que fue un a\u00f1o sobresaliente para el turismo en M\u00e9xico, y las tendencias apuntan a que 2014 ser\u00e1 a\u00fan mejor, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La titular de la SECTUR habl\u00f3 del Programa Nacional de Infraestructura (PNI), y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, por primera vez, se contempla como prioridad al sector tur\u00edstico, lo que demuestra el potencial que tiene para generar bienestar en todas las regiones del pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como la transversalidad que el turismo representa en materias econ\u00f3mica y social.<\/p>\n

EL PNI, recalc\u00f3, reconoce al sector como eje fundamental para el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico impulsando la inversi\u00f3n privada y derramando beneficios directamente entre los habitantes de los destinos tur\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n

Los empresarios mexicanos que acompa\u00f1an a la Secretaria de Turismo, son: Olegario V\u00e1zquez Aldir, del Grupo \u00c1ngeles; Enrique Solana, de la Concanaco-Servytur; Pablo Azc\u00e1rraga Andrade, del Consejo Nacional Empresarial Tur\u00edstico; Daniel Ch\u00e1vez Mor\u00e1n, de Grupo Vidanta; Jos\u00e9 Miguel Bejos, de Grupo Prodi, y Antonio Coss\u00edo Pando, de Hoteles las Brisas.<\/p>\n

En la reuni\u00f3n estuvieron, entre otros empresarios portugueses: Antonio Mota, presidente de Mota-Engil; Dionisio Pestana, de Pestana Hoteles & Resort; Din Nazir, de SANA Hoteles, as\u00ed como representantes de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteler\u00eda Portuguesa (AHP) y de la Asociaci\u00f3n Portuguesa de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo (APAVT).<\/p>\n
