Roo (Junio 2014)<\/strong>\u00a0Para fortalecer su imagen como un destino gourmet, Canc\u00fan celebrar\u00e1 dos importantes eventos gastron\u00f3micos este a\u00f1o y se prepara para organizar la cuarta edici\u00f3n del Wine & Food Festival, del 12 al 15 de marzo del 2015, con la presencia de las pioneras de la alta cocina en M\u00e9xico y de los m\u00e1s afamados chefs de Espa\u00f1a y Francia.<\/p>\n

En conferencia de prensa, David Amar, fundador del festival gastron\u00f3mico, anunci\u00f3 que por primera ocasi\u00f3n se celebrar\u00e1 el Star Restaurant Week, del 20 al 29 de junio pr\u00f3ximo, evento en el que participan 15 restaurantes con men\u00fas de cuatro tiempos y creaciones de chefs locales de talla internacional a precios accesibles para el turismo y comunidad en general.<\/p>\n

El segundo evento, el Summer Tasting 2014, se llevar\u00e1 a cabo entre el 24 de julio y el 9 de agosto, con la participaci\u00f3n de los restaurantes premiados con los Cinco Diamantes de la AAA de los hoteles Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach (Le Basilic), Ritz Carlton (Fantino, Club Grill) y Grand Velas (Cocina de Autor). Durante tres fines de semana, estos afamados centros gastron\u00f3micos ofrecer\u00e1n lo mejor de su cocina a trav\u00e9s de sus reconocidos chefs Henry Charvet, Andreas Schatzschneider y Xavier P\u00e9rez Stone, respectivamente.<\/p>\n

David Amar destac\u00f3 que estos dos eventos tendr\u00e1n como objetivo mantener el inter\u00e9s y la imagen de Canc\u00fan como un destino que promueve la m\u00e1s alta cocina internacional en tanto contin\u00faan con los preparativos para celebrar la cuarta edici\u00f3n del Wine & Food Festival, que para el 2015, incluir\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 24 eventos con la presencia de importantes personalidades.<\/p>\n

Entre los invitados de honor para esta pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n se contar\u00e1n con la presencia de chefs estrellas de la cocina mexicana como Martha Chapa, Martha Ortiz, Carmen Ram\u00edrez \u201cTitita\u201d y Mar\u00eda Teresa Ram\u00edrez, entre otras. Los famosos chefs espa\u00f1oles invitados para el 2015 son Joan Roca, Juan Mari Arzac, Eneko Atxa, Mikel Alonso y Bruno Oteiza y de Francia, los chefs invitados son Bruno Davaillon, Hubert Keller, Laurent Cantineaux, Gregory Gourreau y Henri Charvet.<\/p>\n

Algunos de los eventos programados en el marco del festival son el coctel con celebridades, un d\u00eda dedicado a la gastronom\u00eda francesa, cena de gala con chefs de Francia, fiesta en la playa con la DJ de Budha Bar de Par\u00eds, clases de cocina, conferencia y catas de champagne, vinos y destilados, entre otros.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, David Amar agradeci\u00f3 al sector hotelero, restaurantero y en especial a la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de Canc\u00fan (OVC) por el apoyo brindado para lograr consolidar los festivales gastron\u00f3micos y posicionar a Canc\u00fan como un destino de gran estilo de vida y alta cocina gourmet.<\/p>\n
