Playa del Carmen, Solidaridad a 02 de julio del 2024.- Ante el acercamiento del Hurac\u00e1n Beryl, cuyo centro se ubica alrededor de unos 2 mil kms de las costas de Quintana Roo, autoridades municipales en reuni\u00f3n de trabajo encabezadas por la presidenta Lili Campos, piden a la ciudadan\u00eda en general mantener la calma, informarse por medios oficiales y tomar las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n necesarias.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Se detall\u00f3 que, para la poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable que vive en la zona de Las Torres, In House, Cristo Rey, comunidades rurales y zonas invadidas, el gobierno de Solidaridad en caso de ser necesario abrir\u00e1 11 refugios temporales en esta ciudad y tres en Puerto Aventuras, con capacidad grupal de 2 mil 500 personas. Sin embargo, son 51 refugios en total (cinco en Puerto Aventuras) para cobijar alrededor de 50 mil personas. Para la protecci\u00f3n de turistas se cuenta con una lista de 50 auto refugios en hoteles.<\/p>\n

Las secretar\u00edas de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y la de Servicios P\u00fablicos, recomiendan mantener libre de basura el frente de sus casas y rejillas de pozos de absorci\u00f3n para prevenir encharcamientos, as\u00ed como limpiar los techos de cualquier objeto que por los fuertes vientos pueda convertirse en proyectil, tener llenos y amarrados los tinacos, proteger ventanas y puertas. Adem\u00e1s, resguardar documentos importantes, tener mochila de vida con botiqu\u00edn, alimentos no perecederos, l\u00e1mparas y velas. En caso de tener mascotas, incluirlas y prever sus necesidades.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan informaci\u00f3n del Servicio Meteorol\u00f3gico Nacional (SMN), el hoy hurac\u00e1n categor\u00eda 4, durante su trayectoria hacia la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n posiblemente se degradar\u00eda a categor\u00eda 1 o 2 antes de impactar las costas de Quintana Roo la noche del jueves o viernes pr\u00f3ximo, lo que provocar\u00eda encharcamientos en este municipio.
