Chetumal.- Quintana Roo sigue superando sus propios r\u00e9cords al registrar un crecimiento significativo en la afluencia tur\u00edstica durante el primer cuatrimestre de 2024, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo de Quintana Roo (Sedetur).<\/p>\n

La gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa destac\u00f3 que el crecimiento en la Nueva Era del Turismo en Quintana Roo no solo resalta la belleza y riqueza cultural del estado, sino que tambi\u00e9n subraya el compromiso de usar el turismo como una herramienta para la prosperidad compartida. \u00abEstamos creando oportunidades para todos los quintanarroenses, impulsando el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y fomentando el bienestar de nuestras comunidades\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el Secretario de Turismo, Bernardo Cueto, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el aumento del 3.0% en el movimiento de pasajeros es un claro indicador de que Quintana Roo sigue siendo un destino preferido a nivel global. \u00abCon la continua expansi\u00f3n de nuestras conexiones a\u00e9reas y el incremento en la llegada de cruceristas, seguimos consolidando nuestra posici\u00f3n como l\u00edderes en la industria tur\u00edstica mundial\u00bb, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La afluencia tur\u00edstica aument\u00f3 un 2.9% en comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior, alcanzando un total de 7 millones 271 mil 551 turistas.<\/p>\n

Este crecimiento refleja que el Caribe Mexicano mantiene su popularidad debido a sus atractivos, servicios y hospitalidad, convirti\u00e9ndose en un destino tur\u00edstico de clase mundial.<\/p>\n

En abril de 2024, el Caribe Mexicano estuvo conectado con 117 ciudades de 27 pa\u00edses diferentes, demostrando la creciente accesibilidad y atractivo del destino.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Entre los principales mercados estrat\u00e9gicos de Quintana Roo destacan: Estados Unidos con un 38.6%, M\u00e9xico con un 29.5%, Canad\u00e1 con un 14.3%, Reino Unido con un 1.8% y Francia con un 1.6%.<\/p>\n

Un dato destacado es el incremento del 16.9% en la llegada de cruceristas durante abril de 2024, con un total de 2 millones 489 mil 410 visitantes y tripulantes. Este auge en el turismo de cruceros subraya la importancia del Caribe Mexicano como un puerto clave en las rutas internacionales.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, Quintana Roo mantiene un alto nivel de ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera, con un promedio del 82.6% entre enero y abril de 2024.<\/p>\n
