Playa del Carmen, Solidaridad a 16 de julio del 2024.- Tras el reporte ciudadano sobre una ceiba inclinada, que corr\u00eda el riesgo de caer sobre la calle 10 con avenida 38, la Asociaci\u00f3n Civil Riviera Maya Sostenible, Donante An\u00f3nimo y Coral Diamante en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente Sustentable y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico realizaron la restauraci\u00f3n y rehabilitaci\u00f3n del ejemplar de varios metros de altura.<\/p>\n

La ceiba fue reubicada a ese lugar en el 2016 y permanec\u00eda sana, sin embargo, al parecer por las pasadas lluvias y vientos se fue inclinando, corriendo el riesgo de caer completamente, interviniendo en el cuidado y restauraci\u00f3n Riviera Maya Sostenible A.C., Donante An\u00f3nimo y Coral Diamante.<\/p>\n

Para enderezar el enorme \u00e1rbol, fue necesario extraerlo utilizando una gr\u00faa tipo Hiab, posteriormente se le realiz\u00f3 una poda fitosanitaria, se elabor\u00f3 una poceta adecuada y se reinstal\u00f3 el ejemplar. Durante esos trabajos elementos de la secretaria de seguridad ciudadana resguardaron la zona para garantizar la seguridad.<\/p>\n
