\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nEn esta actividad, guiados por expertos, limpiaron cuidadosamente las colonias coralinas para retirar algas y residuos, ayudando a que crezcan fuertes y saludables en su entorno controlado.<\/p>\n
Estas acciones no solo refuerzan la salud de los ecosistemas marinos, sino que tambi\u00e9n promueven conciencia sobre la importancia de cuidar el medio ambiente. Alejandro March\u00e1n Pay\u00e1n, director de la FPMC, destac\u00f3 que este tipo de iniciativas buscan involucrar a la comunidad en la protecci\u00f3n de los arrecifes, generando un impacto positivo para las generaciones presentes y futuras.<\/p>\n
El programa de restauraci\u00f3n de arrecifes incluye el mantenimiento y monitoreo continuo de mil 500 fragmentos de coral, asegurando su crecimiento y desarrollo en un entorno controlado.<\/p>\n
Cultura de respeto y cuidado<\/p>\n
Este tipo de iniciativas no solo promueven la protecci\u00f3n de los arrecifes, sino que tambi\u00e9n fomentan una cultura de respeto y cuidado hacia la naturaleza en la comunidad, mencion\u00f3 el director de Conservaci\u00f3n y Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental, Rafael Chac\u00f3n D\u00edaz.<\/p>\n
La actividad fue liderada por el bi\u00f3logo marino Ezequiel Castillo y el Manejador de Recursos Naturales Antonio Chale, quienes guiaron al voluntariado en la actividad que consiste en limpiar las colonias de coral para retirar las algas que se adhieren e impiden el crecimiento adecuado de los corales.<\/p>\n
