Si bien a\u00fan queda camino por recorrer para estar al nivel de los grandes consumidores mundiales, cada d\u00eda m\u00e1s mexicanos eligen esta bebida como parte de su estilo de vida. Luis G\u00f3mez, CEO de Vid Mexicana, es uno de los principales promotores de esta evoluci\u00f3n, convencido de que el vino nacional est\u00e1 en un momento de crecimiento hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlrededor de 208 millones de botellas al a\u00f1o se consumen en M\u00e9xico\u201d, comparte G\u00f3mez, al subrayar que aunque el porcentaje de personas que beben vino sigue siendo peque\u00f1o -apenas un 5% de la poblaci\u00f3n-, la cifra representa ya a unos 6.5 millones de consumidores. Esto se traduce en cerca de 20 litros por persona al a\u00f1o, es decir, unas dos botellas al mes.<\/p>\n<p>El CEO de Vid Mexicana destaca c\u00f3mo, en apenas una d\u00e9cada, el consumo per c\u00e1pita pas\u00f3 de 250 mililitros a 1.2 litros, lo que refleja un cambio profundo en los h\u00e1bitos de los mexicanos. Esta transformaci\u00f3n no solo se ve en el consumo, sino tambi\u00e9n en el reconocimiento internacional: etiquetas nacionales han triunfado en concursos como el <i>Concours Mondial de Bruxelles<\/i> y el <i>Concours International Des Cabernets<\/i>, donde el Don Leo Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva fue premiado como el mejor Cabernet del mundo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-87066\" src=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1257\" srcset=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola-1024x858.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola-768x644.jpg 768w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola-1170x980.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/industria-vinicola-585x490.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Retos importantes<\/p>\n<p>G\u00f3mez se\u00f1ala que, actualmente, al menos 16 estados en el pa\u00eds cuentan con producci\u00f3n vitivin\u00edcola, con Baja California, Guanajuato, Quer\u00e9taro y Coahuila como l\u00edderes. Adem\u00e1s, regiones como Aguascalientes, Zacatecas y San Luis Potos\u00ed est\u00e1n impulsando sus propios proyectos con apoyo estatal.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la producci\u00f3n enfrenta retos importantes. \u201cLa amplitud para urdir vino se desarrolla a trav\u00e9s de entre 7 mil y 8 mil 500 hect\u00e1reas de vitis vin\u00edfera, lo que sigue siendo una capacidad limitada frente a la demanda local\u201d, explica G\u00f3mez. Esta falta de producci\u00f3n nacional ha abierto espacio para la importaci\u00f3n de vinos, aunque el apetito por los productos nacionales sigue creciendo.<\/p>\n<p>El sue\u00f1o de democratizar el vino<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVid Mexicana nace de un reportaje en la revista Entrepreneur sobre el vino mexicano\u201d, recuerda G\u00f3mez. Impulsado por el entusiasmo, decidi\u00f3 mapear las etiquetas nacionales disponibles y encontr\u00f3 m\u00e1s de mil, aunque pocos consumidores pod\u00edan nombrar siquiera diez bodegas. As\u00ed surgi\u00f3 la idea de crear una tienda online y un club de vinos que acercara a los mexicanos a su propio producto.<\/p>\n<p>Desde su fundaci\u00f3n en 2016, Vid Mexicana ha buscado eliminar las barreras de acceso al vino a trav\u00e9s de un lenguaje cercano y amigable. \u201cQueremos que las personas entren al mundo del vino sin temor a preguntar, que disipen sus dudas de manera sencilla y honesta\u201d, afirma.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda, Vid Mexicana cuenta con un cat\u00e1logo de m\u00e1s de 3 mil vinos, de los cuales mil 600 son etiquetas mexicanas pertenecientes a 280 productores nacionales. \u201cUna vez que el consumidor nos descubre, le gusta lo que vive como experiencia\u201d, sostiene G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n<p>Modelo omnicanal que sigue creciendo<\/p>\n<p>El \u00e9xito de Vid Mexicana no se limita a su tienda en l\u00ednea. \u201cTenemos presencia en marketplaces como Amazon, Mercado Libre y Walmart, adem\u00e1s de canales tradicionales como centros de consumo y venta directa\u201d, detalla G\u00f3mez. La estrategia omnicanal le ha permitido a la empresa expandir su alcance de manera significativa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl e-commerce brinda acceso a todo el mundo a este fascinante universo del vino y con ello, alcances y oportunidades de negocio sin l\u00edmites\u201d, concluye Luis G\u00f3mez, confiado en que el vino mexicano seguir\u00e1 encontrando nuevos espacios en las mesas y corazones del
