Durante la mesa comercial del puerto, se revel\u00f3 que la plataforma de 80 hect\u00e1reas incluir\u00e1 un astillero y terminales especializadas en manejo de carga y energ\u00e9ticos. Tambi\u00e9n se contempl\u00f3 una conexi\u00f3n ferroviaria con el Tren Maya.
