CANC\u00daN, QR.- La Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles de Canc\u00fan y Puerto Morelos confirm\u00f3 la muerte de su presidente, Roberto Cintr\u00f3 D\u00edaz del Castllo en Madrid, Espa\u00f1a, ciudad en la que se encontraba como parte de la delegaci\u00f3n quintanarroense que asisti\u00f3 a la Feria Internacional de Turismo (Fitur).<\/span><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n

El \u201chotelero de coraz\u00f3n e incansable promotor de Canc\u00fan y Puerto Morelos\u201d, como el mismo se defin\u00eda, falleci\u00f3 este 2 de febrero a los\u00a076 a\u00f1os de edad,\u00a0poco antes de abordar el avi\u00f3n que lo conducir\u00eda de regreso a este centro vacacional.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Sr. Roberto Antonio Cintr\u00f3n D\u00edaz del Castillo, naci\u00f3 en la ciudad de Aguadulce, Veracruz el 7 de Mayo de 1938. Se inici\u00f3 en la hoteler\u00eda en 1968 y lleg\u00f3 a Canc\u00fan en\u00a01983 para dirigir el hotel Club Lagoon.<\/span><\/p>\n

En 1994 toma protesta por primera vez como presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles, siendo en ese entonces el dirigente n\u00famero 13. Durante su administraci\u00f3n ingresa al Comit\u00e9 Directivo de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles y Turismo del Caribe (CHTA por su siglas en ingl\u00e9s).<\/span>
\nFue miembro activo del consejo directivo de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles desde su inicio, desempe\u00f1ando como l\u00edder una constante labor en beneficio de la hoteler\u00eda organizada; importante interlocutor con los diferentes niveles de gobierno del pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como diferentes asociaciones y c\u00e1maras.\u00a0<\/span>
\nFungi\u00f3 como presidente y fundador de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Ejecutivos de Ventas de Hoteles, as\u00ed como residente en cuatro ocasiones del Comit\u00e9 de Promoci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles de Canc\u00fan y en el per\u00edodo 1995-1996 del Club Skal.<\/span>
\n<\/a>Entre sus logros m\u00e1s significativos est\u00e1 la creaci\u00f3n de la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones (OVC) de Canc\u00fan en el per\u00edodo 1996-1997, en conjunto con otros organismos.<\/span>
\n\u201cLa\u00a0hoteler\u00eda, como pieza clave del desarrollo de Canc\u00fan y Puerto Morelos, se ha fortalecido y ahora\u00a0su labor busca ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 y mantener una vinculaci\u00f3n con la comunidad que forma parte vital de la cadena de servicios al turismo. Hoy la\u00a0hoteler\u00eda\u00a0es uni\u00f3n, fuerza y fuente\u00a0de ingreso. El trabajo nunca termina, se requiere de constancia, y la capacitaci\u00f3n forma parte medular en la b\u00fasqueda de la excelencia\u201d, coment\u00f3 recientemente el Sr. Cintr\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cintr\u00f3n D\u00edaz del Castillo, en dos ocasiones al frente de la agrupaci\u00f3n que aglutina 35 mil habitaciones hoteleras, continu\u00f3 hasta el \u00faltimo momento con la\u00a0labor de promoci\u00f3n y representaci\u00f3n de Canc\u00fan, siempre con su compromiso para mantener en el destino \u201cun servicio de clase mundial\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con este compromiso como bandera, sigui\u00f3 cumpliendo con entusiasmo la promoci\u00f3n de Canc\u00fan, hasta concluir su participaci\u00f3n en la edici\u00f3n 35 de Fitur, en Madrid, Espa\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
