Lo ocurrido con Grupo Xcaret abri\u00f3 una discusi\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda sobre el turismo cultural en M\u00e9xico, luego de que resoluciones de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Naci\u00f3n pusieran bajo revisi\u00f3n el uso de s\u00edmbolos vinculados al patrimonio maya dentro de proyectos tur\u00edsticos privados.<\/p>\n<p>La empresa decidi\u00f3 detener voluntariamente la edici\u00f3n para evitar que su realizaci\u00f3n pudiera interpretarse como una confrontaci\u00f3n con las autoridades responsables del patrimonio cultural ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n<p>El tema va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Xcaret. Para muchos dentro del sector tur\u00edstico, la discusi\u00f3n representa una se\u00f1al de alerta sobre c\u00f3mo M\u00e9xico promover\u00e1 su identidad cultural en regiones donde la herencia maya forma parte esencial de la experiencia de viaje.<\/p>\n<p>La pregunta que queda es c\u00f3mo proteger una cultura ancestral sin frenar tambi\u00e9n a una industria que durante a\u00f1os ha contribuido
