{"id":91773,"date":"2026-07-01T06:41:44","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T11:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=91773"},"modified":"2026-07-01T06:47:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T11:47:52","slug":"trabajo-permanente-ante-arribo-de-sargazo-en-playa-del-carmen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=91773","title":{"rendered":"Trabajo permanente ante arribo de sargazo en Playa del Carmen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Liderado por Estefan\u00eda Mercado, el gobierno de Playa del Carmen mantiene un trabajo permanente y coordinado para mantener limpias las playas<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Playa del Carmen.- La presidenta municipal Estefan\u00eda Mercado explic\u00f3 que el mayor arribo de sargazo a las costas de Playa del Carmen, en comparaci\u00f3n con otros destinos del Caribe Mexicano como Puerto Morelos, responde principalmente a factores geogr\u00e1ficos y oceanogr\u00e1ficos, m\u00e1s que a la intensidad de los trabajos de limpieza.<\/p>\n<p>Durante un recorrido de supervisi\u00f3n por distintos puntos del litoral para evaluar de primera mano las condiciones de las playas y verificar el avance de las labores de limpieza y contenci\u00f3n, la alcaldesa se\u00f1al\u00f3 que una de las preguntas m\u00e1s frecuentes que recibe en redes sociales es por qu\u00e9 Playa del Carmen registra una mayor presencia de la macroalga, por lo que consider\u00f3 importante aclarar las diferencias naturales entre municipios.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abPuerto Morelos, por ejemplo, tiene 17.7 kil\u00f3metros de litoral y cuenta con un arrecife que funciona como una barrera natural, reteniendo gran parte del sargazo antes de que llegue a la playa. En Playa del Carmen tenemos 85 kil\u00f3metros de costa, casi cuatro veces y media m\u00e1s, y adem\u00e1s la ubicaci\u00f3n de Cozumel hace que las corrientes marinas conduzcan una mayor cantidad de sargazo hacia nuestras playas\u00bb, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Ante este panorama, Estefan\u00eda Mercado destac\u00f3 que el desaf\u00edo para el municipio es considerablemente mayor, aunque asegur\u00f3 que el gobierno municipal mantiene un trabajo permanente y coordinado para reducir el impacto del fen\u00f3meno.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;
