Paralelamente se abri\u00f3 al p\u00fablico la zona arqueol\u00f3gica de San Miguelito, ubicada en la misma \u00e1rea. De un total de tres mil 500 piezas que integrar\u00e1n el acervo del museo, actualmente est\u00e1n expuestas 400, extra\u00eddas de <strong>sitios arqueol\u00f3gicos<\/strong> como Cob\u00e1, Caracol-Punta Sur, El Meco, El Rey, Ichkab\u00e1l, Muyil, Playa del Carmen, San Gervasio, Tulum, Xel-H\u00e1, Xcaret y San Miguelito. Con una inversi\u00f3n cercana a los 200 millones de pesos, la obra es la m\u00e1s importante en el rubro de la museograf\u00eda desde la creaci\u00f3n del <strong>Museo de Antropolog\u00eda<\/strong>. Durante el primer a\u00f1o en funciones se espera la visita de un mill\u00f3n de
