Con la participaci\u00f3n de al menos 50 productores artesanales de 19 estados de la Rep\u00fablica se realiz\u00f3 en Canc\u00fan\u00a0 el Primer Festival de Destilados Artesanales, que organiz\u00f3 el Comit\u00e9 Nacional para la Sustentabilidad del Maguey, Mezcal y Destilados de Origen Mexicano (Comando). C\u00e9sar Gonz\u00e1lez, tesorero del organismo, destac\u00f3 que si bien el tequila es la bebida mexicana por excelencia y la m\u00e1s famosa, tambi\u00e9n hay otras como el mezcal, \u201cque est\u00e1 de moda en el pa\u00eds\u201d, y el encuentro es una forma de darlo a conocer. El tequila es una industria de 250 millones de litros al a\u00f1o y el mezcal apenas llega a tres, por lo que el primero no necesita difusi\u00f3n. El directivo indic\u00f3 que con base en datos del Consejo Regulador del Mezcal, el envasado del producto creci\u00f3 17% entre 2011 y 2012 en territorio mexicano y del 2012 al 2013 subi\u00f3 150%, solo en consumo nacional; en el \u00e1mbito internacional aument\u00f3 un 18% y 19% en los mismos lapsos anteriores. Dardo tambi\u00e9n se realiz\u00f3 en este mismo mes en Guadalajara y la ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
