AMResorts, subsidiaria de Apple Leisure Group, anunci\u00f3 que la marca Sunscape Resort & Spa abrir\u00e1 su primer hotel family-friendly en Jamaica. Sunscape Montego Bay ser\u00e1 el tercer hotel de AMResorts en la isla y el s\u00e9ptimo contrato de administraci\u00f3n de la empresa en lo que va del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl hecho de que vayamos a abrir otro hotel de nuestro portafolio de marcas en Jamaica es una muestra del excelente desempe\u00f1o que hemos tenido en el pa\u00eds a lo largo de los a\u00f1os\u201d, coment\u00f3 Alex Zozaya, CEO de Apple Leisure Group.<\/p>\n

Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Jamaica recibi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de dos millones de visitantes en 2014 y lo convierte en uno de los destinos m\u00e1s populares de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los trabajos de remodelaci\u00f3n para ajustar el hotel a los est\u00e1ndares de la marca Sunscape Resorts & Spas iniciaron en mayo. AMResorts empezar\u00e1 a administrar el hotel de forma oficial el primero de agosto de 2015; sin embargo, \u00e9ste seguir\u00e1 operando como el Sunset Beach Resort Spa and Water Park en conjunto con el Oasis at Sunset, hasta su lanzamiento oficial bajo la marca Sunscape a finales de este mismo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

La propiedad actual comprende 430 habitaciones distribuidas en dos torres de diez pisos cada una y con vistas espectaculares de la bah\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n posee un parque acu\u00e1tico y su propio casino.<\/p>\n
